Instructions were given to remove encroachment from the forest area
LP Tampa, Wildlife Warden of Rajaji Tiger Reserve Haridwar has instructed the Forest Officer of Haridwar Range to remove the encroachment done in Mansa Devi forest area. Vasu Singh, who filed a complaint of permanent and temporary encroachment in Mansa Devi forest area, said that he had requested to remove the encroachment done in the forest area. Taking action on this, the Wildlife Warden has issued instructions to remove the encroachment. Vasu Singh said that the Wildlife Warden has given instructions to take action against the departmental officers and employees if they are found to be involved in encroachment. Along with this, instructions have been given to stop the carrying of flammable materials, gas cylinders etc. in the forest area and take strict action. Vasu Singh is constantly playing a decisive role in stopping the unethical work being done through correspondence to focus the attention of the state government and administration on public interest. Whereas the Forest Department also continuously conducts campaign against illegal encroachment from the forest area. Shops were also set up wrongly on the land of many forest areas. Action was also ensured against them by the Forest Department.
