Now after 3 months of investigation, it has become clear in the investigation of Delhi Police that Sushil had an alliance with many gangsters. The police has prepared a charge sheet in this case.

During the investigation, it has come to know that the reason for the murder of Sagar Pehalwan was a dispute over the flat of Sushil Kumar’s wife, in which Sagar Dhankar lived. Apart from this, Sushil wrestler was very angry with Sagar because junior wrestler of Sushil wrestler’s camp had gone to Sagar Pehelwan’s camp. Investigation till now revealed that there are total 20 accused including Sushil in Sagar Dhankar’s murder, in which crime The branch has arrested 15 accused from Delhi and Haryana.

5 people including Praveen, Jogendra Kala and Rahul are still absconding in the case. The investigation has revealed how Sushil Pehalwan along with his associates were involved in the racket of purchase, possession and extortion of the disputed land. These two groups of wrestlers Sagar and Sushil were associated with gangsters Kala Jathedi and Neeraj Bawania. Police has produced more than 50 witnesses in this case.

The police is going to file a charge sheet under 18 serious sections of the IPC including murder, attempt to murder, grievous hurt, kidnapping, rioting, criminal conspiracy, Arms Act. The forensic report, CCTV footage of the mobile phone in which the incident of assault was captured, statements of people present in Chhatrasal Stadium have also been included in the charge sheet. The post-mortem report has revealed that Sagar died due to being attacked by a heavy object and causing deep injuries.
