Guyana T20 : Third match between Pakistan and West Indies due to rain

The third T20 match between Pakistan and West Indies played at the Providence Stadium here was washed out due to rain and the result of the match could not come out. The first match of the series also had to be canceled due to rain, while in the second match, Pakistan’s team won and they are leading 1-0 in this four-match series.

Now the fourth and final match for the hosts has become like a do or die situation. If the West Indies team is successful in winning the last match of the series, then they will be able to finish the series in a 1-1 draw and if they lose, they will have to lose the series.
In the third match, the hosts won the toss and decided to bat first. Only eight balls were bowled in the game in which West Indies opener Andre Fletcher scored 14 runs off six balls with two sixes and Chris Gayle, batting from the other end, contributed a run.
When West Indies’ score was 15 runs without losing a wicket in 1.2 overs, then the rain disturbed and then due to continuous rain for about one and a half hours, all chances of the game ended.

Now the next and final match of the series between the two teams will be played on Wednesday.
