Uttarakhand : Case filed against BJP MP Dharmendra Kashyap for making indecent remarks at Jageshwar Dham

A case has been registered against BJP MP Dharmendra Kashyap for allegedly abusing him at Jageshwar Dham complex located in Almora district of Uttarakhand. Police have registered a case against Dharmendra Kashyap and his friends under several sections.

Let us tell you that a video of BJP MP Kashyap from Amla in Bareilly district of UP is going viral. In the video, the MP is seen using abusive language with the priests of the Jageshwar temple.

Aam Aadmi Party had also taken out a public anger rally in which State Vice President Amit Joshi clearly said that such behavior will not be tolerated at all.

Jageshwar Temple Management Committee manager Bhagwan Bhatt told that he had given his complaint to the Almora District Magistrate about the incident and on his orders, an FIR has been lodged in the revenue area. He told that on Saturday evening, the MP along with some of his colleagues had reached Jageshwar temple for worship. He alleged that after the worship of the MP was over, the temple management informed him about the closure of the temple at 6 pm and urged him to go out from there. It is alleged that the MP got angry on this matter and he abused them. As the dispute between the two sides escalated, the MPs left.

Call for action
After the video of the incident went viral, apart from Jageshwar temple management committee, priests and other local people, the Congress had also demanded strict action against the MP. The local people of Jageshwar Dham along with regional MLA Govind Singh Kunjwal sat on a fast in the temple premises.

BJP spoke on this subject
Kunjwal said that the MP has behaved against his dignity and dignity by using abusive language at the religious place for which strict action should be taken against him. Meanwhile, BJP’s Uttarakhand unit president Madan Kaushik, when asked in this regard, said that he is getting information about the matter. However, he made it clear that such conduct cannot be justified in such a holy place, no matter who is doing it.
