India and China have agreed to expeditiously resolve pending issues in Eastern Ladakh. The Army has issued a joint statement on Monday regarding the 12th round of talks between the top military commanders of India and China on Saturday. The conversation has been described as positive. The statement, issued two days after India-China military talks that lasted nearly nine hours, said that the two sides have a clear and in-depth view regarding the withdrawal of troops from the western sector of the India-China border area near the Line of Actual Control (LAC). have been shared.

Both sides termed this round of meeting as constructive which further enhanced mutual understanding. They agreed to resolve the remaining issues on an expeditious basis in accordance with the existing agreements and protocols. It was also agreed to maintain the pace of talks and talks. Both sides also agreed to continue effective efforts to ensure stability along the LAC.
