12 security officers killed in attack by gunmen in Burkina Faso
Moscow, 09 August. Twelve security officers have been killed in an attack by gunmen in the northern province of Soru, in the West African country of Burkina Faso.
According to a report released late last night by Radio Omega, seven soldiers and five patrolmen were among the victims and seven more security officers were reported missing.
In the northern part of Burkina Faso, activities of Islamic groups affiliated with the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda and Islamic State have been active since 2016.
