Corona infected 11 members of the ship’s crew near the New Zealand coast
On Monday, 11 of the 21 crew members of the container ship Rio de la Plata off the coast of Tauranga in New Zealand were found to be corona infected. An Australian pilot who boarded the ship from Queensland in July was found to have symptoms of COVIDand then nine days after boarding the ship, his COVID-19 test was found positive. The Australian pilot was confirmed to be infected with the Delta variant of Corona.
