Japan’s PM Suga expresses gratitude to the countrymen for organizing the Tokyo Olympics
Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga on Monday thanked the countrymen for successfully and safely organizing the Olympic Games despite the difficulties related to the corona virus epidemic. Expressing gratitude to the people for their cooperation and support, Suga said, “The Games were postponed for a year and took place under strict guidelines but I think we were able to fulfill our responsibility to the host country.”
