Students reach Supreme Court to open schools in Delhi, enumerates many disadvantages of school closure

For the opening of schools in Delhi (Delhi School Open Date), an appeal has now been made in the court. A class 12 student has approached the Supreme Court for this. A 12th student named Amar Prem Prakash has filed an application in the Supreme Court demanding the opening of schools. It has been said in the petition that the school is closed since March April last year, which is having a psychological effect on the students, many students are stressed. are also being victimized. Online classes running in schools are not being done properly. There is no complete development of the students. By filing an application in the Supreme Court, the student also said that the state should decide to open the school in view of the condition of Coronavirus infection.

Significantly, except Delhi, schools and colleges have been opened in most of the states. However, after the opening of the school, cases of corona infection among children have been reported in many states including Madhya Pradesh, Punjab. In such a situation, schools have to be closed again in many states. The Delhi government had also conducted an opinion poll in the matter of opening the school. In this, advice was taken from schools, parents, managers and other concerned parties.

As soon as schools opened in Punjab, cases of infection have been reported in 33 children. Whereas in Madhya Pradesh, Kovid cases have been found in more than 60 school children. Meanwhile, Rajasthan has also announced to open schools from class 9th to 12th from September 1. The Maharashtra government had also prepared guidelines for opening schools from class 5th to 12th. But the Kovid Taskforce has not yet given an opinion in favor of opening the school. As such, the decision has been deferred.

In the capital Delhi, permission has been given to open schools only for administrative work. However, the admission process has been started in the college.
