Congress’s question to PM Modi, ‘What is the plan for the safe return of Indian diplomats and citizens’

Eventually, what was expected happened. The Taliban has taken control of the country after the withdrawal of US-NATO troops from Afghanistan. Due to this there is an atmosphere of panic in the country and people are forced to leave the country. After the capture of Kabul on Sunday, Afghanistan is now completely ruled by the Taliban. The condition is that Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has taken refuge in the neighboring country of Tajikistan. Pictures of armed members of the Taliban taking control of the presidential palace were also revealed. The Ashraf Ghani government has accepted that the Taliban has won the 20-year-long war. Before leaving Afghanistan, President Ashraf Ghani has said in his last message that he left the country to avoid bloodshed. Meanwhile, the US has warned the Taliban not to cause any harm to people going out of roads, airports and border entryways. 65 countries led by America have issued a joint statement regarding this. All countries, including America, Britain, France, are running special flights to evacuate their citizens from Afghanistan. After the Taliban’s occupation of Afghanistan, it is believed that Mullah Baradar, the leader of the radical Islamic group Taliban, may become the country’s president.
