Three persons of Indian origin arrested for human trafficking

Three people of Indian origin have been arrested in Canada for human trafficking. The age of the victim in this case is below 18 years.

Police have arrested three people from the city of Brampton, Ontario, while the search is on for a fourth, who is from South Asia, Toronto Star newspaper reported. The case pertains to the investigation of trafficking of a girl under the age of 18 years.

The report said that 23-year-old Amritpal Singh and 22-year-old Harkuwar Singh were accused of trafficking a girl under the age of 18, taking advantage of sexual service provided by a girl under 18, advertising a sex service, forcibly imprisoned charged with assault and assault.

Sukhmanpreet Singh, 23, is facing charges of forcible confinement and assault, the news said.
