Uttarakhand : Important decisions taken in cabinet meeting

The cabinet meeting was held in the assembly on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dhami. Will be Important decisions were taken in this meeting. The proposal to give central status to Pantnagar University will be sent to the Central Government. At the same time, permission will be given to get the work done by selecting a big agency for the reconstruction of Kedarnath and Badrinath.

Cabinet decisions
1. Proposal for grant of central status to Pantnagar University will be sent to the Centre. In relation to this property, a committee will be formed under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary.
2. Uttarakhand manual accounting will be amended to introduce dual accounting system in all local bodies.
3. Uttar Pradesh Rajya Setu Nigam will be selected as the executive body.
4. Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority, District Legal Services Authority, High Court Legal Services Committee, Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Permanent Lok Adalat and Central Employees Service Manual for alternative dispute resolution were promulgated.
5. The Uttarakhand Land Estates (Regulation and Development) (General) Rules, 2017 were promulgated.
6. In order to speed up the work of ownership scheme, amendments will be made in Rule 14(5) and 18(2) of the Uttarakhand Population Survey and Operation Rules, 2020 and Uttarakhand Population Survey and Operation Rules 2021 will be made.
7. For the reconstruction of Kedarnath and Badrinath, a large agency will be selected and permission will be given to get the work done.
8. Decision will be taken at Directorate level instead of Government in case of self-assessment by simplification of mining related matters.
9. After technical testing under Jal Jeevan Mission, the District Magistrates were empowered to get works worth two to five crores.
10. The disposal of all arbitration related matters will be decided through a three member committee headed by a retired judge of the High Court.

Important announcements made by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made several important announcements in the Vidhan Sabha today.

Rural Development Department : A deduction of Rs 1.00 crore (one crore only) made for the financial year 2020-21 will be released in the MLA fund to be given to each member of the Legislative Assembly in the state.

Higher Education Department : Tablets will be made available to the students of government degree colleges. About 1 lakh students will be benefited by this. Its total expenditure load is Rs.100 crores.

Sainik Welfare Department / Urban Development Department : Appropriate action will be taken to waive the building tax of the ex-servicemen residing in the Cantt Board located in the state.

Revenue Department : For the development of agriculture and allied sectors in the state, prevention of migration and creating opportunities for self-employment, after studying the land-laws, a committee was formed under the chairmanship of Subhash Kumar, former Chief Secretary / President, Uttarakhand Revenue Council. has given.

Police Department : Constable, Head Constable, Sub-Inspector and Inspector will be given a one-time incentive of Rs 10,000 for the commendable work and services being done by them in COVID-19.

Revenue Department: Patwari / Lekhpal, Revenue Inspector and Naib Tehsildar will be given a one-time incentive of Rs 10,000 for the commendable work and services being done by them in COVID-19.

Rural Development : Village Development Officer, Gram Panchayat Development Officer and Assistant Development Officer will be given a one-time incentive of Rs 10000 for the commendable work and services being done by them in COVID.

School Education : Separate toilets will be ensured for girl students in all the schools of the state. Announced to increase the amount of Shivanand Nautiyal Scholarship from Rs.250 to Rs.1500 and also to increase the number of its beneficiaries from 11 to 100. He also announced to increase the amount of Sridev Suman State Meritorious Scholarship from Rs.150 to Rs.1000. Virtual classes will be arranged in 600 additional schools. Admission fortnight from 1st to 14th September 2021 in all government schools including Atal Utkrisht Vidyalayas and Swagotsav will be celebrated for newly admitted children on 15th September 2021.

Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A heart wrenching incident has come to light from Vikasnagar in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Where a young man killed his own mother and fled from the spot. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
