Uttarakhand / Vikasnagar : Distribution of Chief Minister Mahalaxmi kit to beneficiary women

Chief Minister Mahalaxmi Kit was distributed to the beneficiaries in Barowala, Baniyawala on behalf of Child Development Department Sahaspur. As the chief guest, social worker Bina Raturi presented kits to the mothers of newborn daughters. On Saturday morning, the kit distribution program organized at Barowala Anganwadi center was inaugurated by Chief Guest Bina Raturi and Child Development Supervisor Rekha Bhandari. Highlighting the Chief Minister Mahalaxmi Kit Scheme, the Chief Guest distributed the kits to the beneficiary women. He also threw light on the Mahalaxmi Kit scheme being run by the government for the promotion of daughters. Said that this scheme would prove to be effective for the promotion of the little girl child. Supervisor Rekha Bhandari also informed the women present about other schemes being run by the project. Along with this, women were also made aware of proper nutrition of newborn babies and use of kits. On this occasion Vishnu Rana, Rajni Bartwal, Kamlesh, Vibha, Asha Rani, Rani Gurung, Rajni Rani, Sunita Sati, Bharti, Tulsi, Neha, Anita, Sangeeta, Devika etc. were present.
