PM Modi will talk to the health workers and vaccination people of Himachal today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the health workers of Himachal Pradesh and the beneficiaries of the COVID vaccination program through video conference at 11 am on September 6. The first dose of COVID-19 vaccination has been successfully administered to all eligible people in Himachal Pradesh. The state’s efforts to focus on difficult areas include geographical prioritization, initiatives to ensure public awareness and door-to-door visits by ASHA workers.
The State Government has given special attention to women, elderly, Divyangjan, industrial workers, daily wage laborers etc. and to achieve this milestone, special campaigns like Safety Tips – Corona Se Mukti has been launched.

The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh will also be present during this program.
Himachal Pradesh has become the first state in India to have given the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine to 100% of its adult population.

Expressing satisfaction over this achievement, the state health minister had said on August 29 that the second dose of 100 per cent population would be completed by November 30.

More than half of India’s adult population has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 16 percent have received both. The Health Ministry has said that the cumulative number of doses given across the country has exceeded 67 crore.

According to government data, the daily vaccine dose has increased from 19.69 lakh in May to 39.89 lakh in June and 43.41 lakh in July.

In Sikkim, 36 per cent of the eligible population has been given the second dose, while in Dadra and Nagar Haveli it is 18 per cent and in Himachal Pradesh 32 per cent.
