On Sunday, a review meeting was held under the chairmanship of District President Ramsharan Yadav at the Praspa Camp office located in Tambeshwar Mohalla. In which the chief guest was state general secretary and Prayagraj divisional in-charge Lallan Rai, state general secretary, district in-charge Arvind Yadav, state secretary Shamshad. The meeting discussed about the 2022 assembly elections to be held in the state. Talking to reporters after the meeting, State General Secretary Lallan Yadav said that the Progressive Samajwadi Party is ready for the assembly elections. Along with the formation of frontal organizations in the district, their expansion is being done. They are ready with the option of merging and forming an alliance with the Samajwadi Party in the assembly elections. Said that the party would divide each assembly into 25 sectors and appoint a zonal in-charge for every 5 sectors. Along with this, every booth will be strengthened by giving the slogan of one booth 15 youth. Regarding the alliance with the Samajwadi Party, he said that the PSP is ready to take all like-minded parties along. He said that the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party has agreed to reiterate the promise of alliance and merger with the SP. The decision rests on the national president Shivpal Yadav. Said that with the slogan of ‘Remove BJP’, Praspa will enter the assembly elections. In the alliance, the PSP will demand to contest on 100 seats. Under the agreement, one or two seats will be demanded in all the districts of the state including the district. In the event of not getting respectable seats, the party will contest on all 403 assembly seats. Told that the party will take out Rath Yatra across the state from September 15 regarding the assembly conch shell and will get seats in the assembly elections by connecting people with the party. PSP will play an important role in forming a non-BJP government. State Secretary Bina Patel, District President Prayagraj Dinanath Yadav, former District President and former District Panchayat President Jagnayak Singh, Samarjit Singh, Azhar Uddin Babbu etc. were present on this occasion.
