Andhra Pradesh / Bengaluru : Bodies of 5 people of same family recovered in Bangalore, 9 year old girl also dies, fear of suicide

Five members of a family, which includes four adults and a nine-month-old baby, were found dead at their home. Bydarahalli Police of Bangalore has confirmed the same. The bodies of all the members were found in mutilated condition. According to the police, they probably died four days ago. It is suspected that all four died by suicide. The deceased have been identified as Bharti (51), their daughters Sinchana (34) and Sindhurani (34), their son Madhusagar (25) and a child. Two-year-old girl Preksha was also found in the house. The girl has been sent to the hospital. Bharti’s husband Shankar was not at home at the time of the incident.

Police is investigating the matter
The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) said the incident came to light when the landlord called the police on Friday evening. He informed that the tenants’ phone is not available and the house is locked.
DCP (West) Sanjeev M Patil said, police are searching for other evidence including suicide note from the house. We are also trying to find out how the neighbors did not come to know about the incident even after three-four days.

It is suspected that the accident happened due to a family dispute. However, this is not yet known for certain. Further investigation is being done in the matter.
