Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Union Minister of Heavy Industries Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey presented Excel Awards to BHEL employees

The annual festival of excellence of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The company’s Excel Awards were presented to the meritorious employees at the festival. Union Heavy Industries Minister Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey presented the awards to the employees at the function organized at BHEL’s Varanasi plant. Dr. Nalin Singhal, Chairman and Managing Director of BHEL, Directors of the Board of Directors and other senior officers were also present on the occasion. In the program, senior officers of all the manufacturing units, divisions and offices of the company located across the country joined online through video conferencing. At the function, Dr. Pandey presented Excel awards to 12 teams comprising 65 employees of different units of BHEL, including 3 women employees. Awards Excellence Award – for All round Excellence, Outstanding Technical Publication Award – for Technical Paper/Booklet/Book Publishing, Research Award – for R&D, Customer Satisfaction Award – for Customer Satisfaction, Productivity Award – for Productivity Enhancement For this, Commitment Award for exemplary commitment to work even in difficult adversity conditions and Samaj Seva Award – Award for outstanding contribution towards society. During the program, the Minister of Heavy Industries Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey said that the company has been continuously demonstrating its commitment towards various programs of the Government, whether it is providing regular technical training to the apprentices under the Skill India initiative or the Make in India initiative. To help make the self-reliant India campaign a success. BHEL is always ready for all opportunities. Dr. Pandey said that BHEL can play an important role in strengthening the five pillars economy, infrastructure, system, demography and demand under which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has prepared under self-reliant India. This is the 75th year of our independence and BHEL’s significant participation in this nectar festival of independence is assured. He said that apart from national security, it is our responsibility to pay attention to the environment and strengthen ourselves in the field of clean energy.
