In the second phase, the Congress’s Parivartan Yatra, which reached Haridwar, was welcomed by the workers from place to place. In Haridwar assembly constituency, workers under the leadership of Anshul Shrikunj, Sumit, Jatashankar Srivastava, Vibhash Mishra, Nitin Kaushik etc. welcomed the Paritarvan Yatra with slogans near Premnagar Ashram. Anshul Shrikunj and Jatashankar Srivastava said that Parivartan Yatra will pave the way for Congress to come to power. It is clearly visible from the crowd and enthusiasm of Congress workers that people want to remove BJP from power. Former ministers of state Maqbool Qureshi and Haji Naeem Qureshi said that the Modi government at the Center and the BJP government of the state have failed to fulfill the promises made to the people. The people of the country are upset due to the wrong policies of the BJP governments. Mahesh Pratap Rana and Vimala Pandey said that corruption, inflation, unemployment, three black agricultural laws will lead to the downfall of the BJP government. He said that the huge crowd in the Parivartan Yatra is showing that the people are fed up with the policies of the Modi government at the Centre. The defeat of the BJP is certain in the assembly elections to be held next year. Congress will form the government in Uttarakhand by registering a huge majority and will fulfill the aspirations of the people.
