Uttarakhand / Champawat : Acid was thrown on the girl, the girl was attacked earlier too
An unknown person threw acid on a girl in Tanakpur, Champawat. The victim’s family has made a verbal complaint to the Kotwali police, expressing the possibility of acid attack. According to the information, a family resident of Tanakpur has told in an oral complaint to the police that acid was thrown at their daughter two days ago during the night.
Told that some amount of acid fell in the clothes of the girl, due to which the clothes got scorched. It is alleged that some time back also an unknown person tried to harm this girl. However, it is not yet clear why this man is trying to harm the girl. The family members of the victim have sought police protection.
