Uttarakhand / Pauri : Health Minister flagged off the joy ride

State Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat flagged off the joy ride for Khirsu of Srinagar assembly constituency in a program organized at District Hospital Pauri. In a program organized at the district hospital on Saturday, Dr. Rawat said that the joy ride ambulance had stopped in the state since 2016. He said that with the formation of the state government, a lot of facilities are being provided in the field of health. On becoming the Health Minister, fast work is being done in the field of health in collaboration with the CM. Said that before 2016, when the child was born in the hospital, the joy ride used to drop them till the house. The state government has made a big change in this, saying that now by calling on the toll free number 102 for delivery, the happy ride ambulance will go to the pregnant woman to bring her home and drop her at home when the child is pregnant. Said that the expenditure for bringing the pregnant woman would be borne by the Central Government and the State Government for carrying her from the hospital to the house. Said that now arrangements have been made for both the sides. Along with this, if a pregnant woman is brought on a taxi due to vehicle problem or the driver is on leave, they will be given taxi fare under alternative arrangements. He said that dialysis patients would now be given dialysis in every district hospital and ambulances would be provided for commuting from home. On this occasion, State Cooperative Union President Matbar Singh Rawat, former Minister of State Ghananand, Municipal President Yashpal Benam, DM Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande, former Municipality President Kunj Bihari Negi, CDO Prashant Kumar Arya, CMO Dr. Manoj Sharma etc. were present.
