Uttarakhand / Roorkee : 25 dengue patients found in Roorkee, alert

The Health Department has become alert after the information of dengue patients being found at many places in Roorkee and Kaliyar. According to private labs of Roorkee and Kaliyar, 25 dengue patients have been found. The Health Department team examined all such pathology labs where patients were examined. After collecting the samples of all these patients, ELISA test is being done. Along with this, the team is contacting patients with confirmed dengue. The Health Department heaved a sigh of relief after the outbreak of the second wave of corona subsided, but now dengue has also given its knock. Ten to twelve people are being tested daily for dengue at Roorkee Civil Hospital. But till now not a single dengue patient has been found in the investigation. But the report of private pathology is saying something else.

According to the data received from private pathology labs of Roorkee and Kaliyar, 25 people have come to dengue positive in rapid test. Various pathology labs have informed the health department about getting dengue cases. Due to this, a team led by Vector Inspector CM Kanswal from the district reached Roorkee. The team has taken blood samples of all those patients from all these pathology labs. Patients whose rapid test has confirmed dengue.
