Uttarakhand : More than 700 devotees visited Char Dham on the first day

In Uttarakhand, the yatra started in the state with Vedic chants in Char Dham including Kedarnath, Badrinath. On the first day, more than 700 devotees visited Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamanotri Dham. On the other hand, the tourism and transport businessmen of Chardham Route are also very happy with the commencement of the Yatra. By 12 noon, 352 pilgrims had left for Kedarnath Dham. Only 800 people are allowed in Kedardham every day. Arrangements have also been restored in the sanctum sanctorum in Kedarnath. No one is allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum. All the passengers have been allowed to have darshan from the Sabha Mandap itself. Worship of Lord Badri Vishal started at Brahma Murhut in Badrinath. Chief Rawal Ishwari Prasad Namboodiri performed the bath, makeup and abhishekam of the Lord as per the rules. Dharmadhikari Bhuvan Uniyal, Additional Dharmadhikaris recited the Vedas. As soon as the doors opened, the devotees entered the temple premises with the shouts of Jai Badri Vishal. By noon, 250 devotees had had darshan of Lord Badrinath. The series is still going on. On the other hand, till noon in Uttarkashi, 73 devotees had visited Gangotri Dham. In Yamunotri, devotees also offer prayers to Mother Yamuna. In both the dhams till the evening 302 devotees had darshan and offered prayers.

Strong arrangements for COVID investigation from place to place
For the health check-up of the devotees coming to visit Lord Badrinath, arrangements have been made for the COVID test on the barrier from Gauchar, Mohan Khal, Mehalchauri, the entrance of the district. In Pandukeshwar also, COVID test passengers are being screened. COVID screening of passengers going to Hemkund is also being done. Passengers coming to Badrinath, COVID forms are also being checked in Devdarshini. On the other hand, separate arrangements have been made for RTPCR COVID test in Sonprayag for the devotees of Maharashtra, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh going to Kedarnath.
