AIFF to organize refresher courses for AFC Futsal Level 1 certified coaches
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has announced plans to organize an online refresher course for coaches with AFC Futsal Level I certificate.
There will be four sessions of the course, which will be conducted online from 7 pm to 9 pm on October 2, 3, 9 and 10 respectively, the AIFF said.
On successful completion of the course, learners will be awarded two CPD (Continuing Professional Development) marks, following which the prerequisites for selection of coaches will be met. The facility of application on the Coach Education Portal has started for the eligible candidates from last Saturday.
It is noteworthy that presently the only AFC Futsal Level 1 teacher in the country, Joshua Vaz will be responsible for organizing this course along with Shailesh Karkera, JD Almeida and Veerbabu Shivneni. During the course, Futsal Laws and Amendments, Futsal Strategy, System, Style, AFC Manual with Futsal Match Analysis and Analysis of Policy will be taught.
