Tabu’s entry in Mahesh Manjrekar’s film White?

Actor and director Mahesh Manjrekar announced his film White a while back. He announced this by sharing the first poster of the film on social media. Now the news is that he has also selected the heroine for this film. Mahesh himself has revealed that Tabu has always been his first choice for White and no one can replace him.
According to the report, Mahesh Manjrekar has been thinking of presenting White’s story to the audience since 2010 and now he is all set for it. He is working on a female-centric film for the second time after Astitva. It is the story of a wife belonging to a middle-class family, whose desires and ambitions are very deep. Mahesh said that he is proud that he is directing this wonderful film.

Mahesh said, when I narrated the story of this film to Tabu, she was shocked. He just said to me, Mahesh, can I do justice to this film? It is very difficult to bring this character to the screen.

The report states that Mahesh Manjrekar can’t even think of casting any other actress other than Tabu in White. He wrote its story keeping Tabu in mind.

Mahesh announced his film on Instagram last month. He wrote, I have been living with this story for almost a decade and now White has finally found its colour. Two filmmakers Sandeep and Raaj Shaandilyaa have joined me in making my dream project. He has shown confidence in me, for that I am very excited. The film may release on the occasion of Dussehra next year.

Mahesh Manjrekar also worked with Tabu in the film Astitva. The film was released on 6 February 2000. Along with the story of the film, Tabu’s performance was also highly appreciated by the audience. Sachin Khedekar was seen with Tabu in the film. In the film, Tabu played the character of a happily married woman named Aditi Pandit. In the film, Sachin became her husband, who played the role of Shrikant Pandit.

Tabu will soon be seen in the film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Through this, she is working with Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani for the first time. She can once again mark her presence with Ajay Devgan in the Hindi remake of Drishyam 2. Apart from this, Tabu is working with actors like Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah and Konkona Sen Sharma in the film Dog. Tabu is also making a guest appearance in the Malayalam film Bhishma Parvam.
