Devbhoomi Uttarakhand Safai Karamcharis Sangh has decided to separate from the Swachhkar Karmachari Sangh United Front. State General Secretary of the organization Rajpal Pawar said that in the meeting of the United Front held at Valmiki Dharamshala, Jwalapur, the president of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand Safai Karamchari Sangh was disappointed by the neglect of the issues of the Safai Karamcharis and the efforts of the front officials to thwart the workers’ movement. Masih, after discussing with the office bearers and members, decided to leave the United Front. State President Rahat Masih said that continuous efforts are being made by the United Front to thwart the agitation being run by the Devbhoomi Uttarakhand Safai Karamcharis Sangh for the last two and a half years for the various demands of the Safai Karamcharis. Rahat Masih said that even after the assurance of the Chief Minister, the mandate has not yet been issued on the 11-point demands of the Safai Karamcharis. Due to which there is a state of anger among the sanitation workers of the entire state. For speedy action on the interests of Safai Karamcharis and pending demands, a fresh movement will be started soon by the Devbhoomi Uttarakhand Safai Karamchari Sangh. Senior Vice President Ajay Bannu and Secretary Dinesh Katiyar said that the contract system, outsourcing, promotion, appointment of deceased dependents, restoration of old pension scheme, life insurance and health insurance benefits, payment of allowances like state employees, On October 5, all the people of the state were demanding the ownership of houses, providing permanent residence and caste proof to the landless people of Valmiki community, appointment of dependents of the deceased contractual employees and modifying the environmental friend designation to be Safai Nayak. Demonstrations will be held in Municipal Corporations, Municipalities. After this, there will be a fast and gherao of the Chief Minister’s residence.
