Uttarakhand / Vikasnagar : Distribute free LPG connection under Ujjwala Yojana
Under the Ujjwala scheme of the Central Government, free LPG connections were distributed to twenty-five eligible families in Baluwala on Sunday. Applications of many families were taken to get the benefit of the scheme. Vikasnagar MLA Munna Chauhan, who is participating in the gas connection distribution program, said that clean fuel is the basis of a better life. The Ujjwala scheme is not only improving the health of women, but the environment is also being protected. After the implementation of the scheme, there has been a reduction in the cutting of wood for fuel in the forests. He told that the BJP government has operated the world’s biggest scheme to make every house free from wood stove. Under the scheme, free connections have been given to needy families in every province of the country. Said that in the present phase, under the scheme, the Baluwala Gas Agency has got twenty-five free connections. Soon other beneficiaries will be given the benefit of the scheme. During this, agency operator Waqar Ahmed, village head Jitendra Singh, member member Darban Singh Aswal, Fateh Alim, Mukesh Sharma, Nawab Chaudhary etc. were present.
