Manish Murder Case: Complaint of Gorakhpur’s DM and SSP to NHRC

A complaint has been sent to the National Human Rights Commission against the DM-SSP of Gorakhpur and the concerned police station in connection with the lynching of property dealer Manish Gupta. An application has been sent for complaint in the commission of RTI activist Danish Khan of Rampur.
Kanpur’s property dealer Manish Gupta’s death due to beating of Gorakhpur police is now gaining momentum. RTI activist Danish Khan, a resident of Nadarbagh Madhaiya, Rampur, wrote a letter to the National Human Rights Commission in this regard, saying that in this famous episode of Gorakhpur, the police is trying to cover-up, while the post-mortem report of Manish Gupta gave his false story. The pole has been opened. The post-mortem report revealed that Manish has serious injury marks on his head, face and body. Manish was hit hard on the front of the head, due to which blood was bleeding from near his nose. However, the police, in their first statement after the incident, had called it an accidental death. He demanded action against the DM, SSP and the concerned police station.
