Sriram Raghavan offered Salman the film Merry Christmas with Katrina

Both these actors will be seen in this film of director Sriram Raghavan. Now an interesting information related to the film is coming out. It is being told that along with Katrina, Raghavan had also offered his film Merry Christmas to actor Salman Khan.
According to the report, Salman was also approached along with Katrina for Merry Christmas. A source said, “This was the second time Raghavan had offered a film to Salman. After Bajrangi Bhaijaan in 2015, Raghavan and Salman had discussed to work on a thriller film, but for some reason further talks did not materialise. The Raghavans met once again for Merry Christmas.
A source said that Raghavan felt that Salman would be a perfect fit for the film. If reports are to be believed, Salman and his team felt that it was too small a film for a superstar like him. This was the reason why he politely declined the offer. It is being said that Salman loves Raghavan’s work and is also looking forward to working with him.
It is reported that Salman wants to work with Raghavan in a big budget commercial film. Raghavan felt that Salman was perfect for Merry Christmas. Apart from Merry Christmas, Raghavan is in discussion about his next film Ikkis. Varun Dhawan is going to be seen in the lead role in this film. The shooting of this film is likely to start in February 2022. The film is based on the life of military officer Arun Khetrapal.
Merry Christmas will be inspired by a short film, the story of which is woven around the city of Pune. Raghavan has previously directed successful films like Andhadhun starring Ayushmann Khurrana. Merry Christmas will see Katrina and South’s superstar Vijay sharing the screen for the first time. According to the news, this film will be of 90 minutes without interval.
