UP Roadways Employees Union has opened a front against senior IAS Iftikharuddin in the controversial viral video case. The dharna was held on Tuesday under the leadership of provincial president Ramji Tripathi and provincial vice president Shivam. Ramji Tripathi announced that iftikharuddin comes to Kanpur while holding the post of UPSRTC chairman, he will purify his soul by drinking Gangajal.

Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, all the constables of transport, Iftikharuddin has to be removed, transport has to be saved, the Employees Union staged a dharna in the union office Rawatpur by raising slogans. Shivam Tripathi alleged that the development of the department could not take place when Iftikharuddin, who had a corrupt mentality, held the post of chairman.
