Deputy District Magistrate Bighapur on Tuesday conducted a surprise inspection of two gaushalas of Patan area in view of the continuous complaints of disorder in the gaushalas. The SDM warned about the negligence being taken in cleaning and providing fodder.
On Tuesday, SDM Ankit Shukla first reached Tajakpur Gaushala regarding Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas and complaints regarding Gaushalas in recent times. According to the number recorded on the records, 28 cows were present here. The SDM gave necessary instructions to the dirt and fodder water in the Gaushala. After this, Deputy District Officer Ankit Shukla inspected Akathi Gaushala along with Tehsildar Dilip Kumar. Here 55 cows were found. The SDM took information from the Gaushala workers regarding cleanliness and fodder etc. Not being satisfied, he expressed his displeasure and warned. The SDM said that no cattle have died so far and no cattle have been found ill. During the inspection, everything has been found correct, instructions have also been given on some aspects of hockey. On the other hand, villagers said that the exercise to organize both the cowsheds was started from last evening itself. Whereas on normal days, even the cows do not get enough fodder.
