Uttarakhand : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inspecting the reconstruction works in Kedarnath Dham

Devotees should follow the SOP issued for Dham completely : CM

After inspecting the reconstruction works of Kedarnath Dham, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami came back to Dehradun and held a press conference. Addressing the press conference at the Janata Darshan Hall located at the Chief Minister’s residence, he has appealed to the devotees visiting the Char Dham to follow the SOP issued for the Char Dham keeping in mind the COVID guidelines. Before leaving for the journey, you must bring all your necessary documents and COVID-19 negative report and vaccination certificate with you.

The Chief Minister said that the Hon’ble Court has removed the daily limit prescribed for devotees in Chardham Yatra. The Chief Minister said that it is the endeavor of the government to ensure that the yatra continues and for the safety of the passengers, for this, the yatra will be completed safely under the COVID guide line. The Chief Minister said that whatever problems there are regarding the yatra, instructions have been given to remove them soon.

Giving information about the reconstruction works of Kedarnath Dham, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that by October 30, the work of Samadhi of Shankaracharya ji would be completed.

The Chief Minister said that works worth 409 crores have been proposed for Kedarnath Dham, out of which work of 225 crores has been completed, while work of 114 crores is under construction in Phase 2. Similarly, 245 crore works are proposed for Badrinath Dham. Giving information, Chief Minister Dhami said that works worth Rs 708 crore are in progress and proposed for the reconstruction and beautification of the four Dhams.
