Uttarakhand : CM spoke to CM Helpline complainants

On Tuesday, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami spoke to the complainants who filed complaints in the CM Helpline service and inquired about their experiences. The CM asked the officers to create a high level monitoring mechanism to address the complaints coming on the helpline. While reviewing the CM helpline on Tuesday, Dhami said that the Chief Secretary once in a month and the Departmental Secretary in 15 days to resolve the complaints lodged in the helpline. Strict action will be taken if there is negligence in redressal of complaints.

He asked to forward the emergency calls coming in the helpline to the concerned department. During this, Dhami spoke to the complainant of CM Helpline 1905, Pankaj Goswami, resident of Agastyamuni and Bina Pant of Haldwani over phone. Pankaj Goswami had filed a complaint on the CM helpline after police verification was not done on the Devbhoomi app, while Bina Pant complained to the electricity department on the helpline, both the complaints were resolved within 12 hours.

On this occasion, Director ITDA Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava informed that public grievances are being registered daily from 8 am to 12 pm on CM Helpline. Earlier this night service was only till 10 am, now it has been increased to 12 pm. A total of 54 departments and 155 sub-divisions are registered in the helpline. Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Arvind Singh Hyanki, Vinod Kumar Suman, Additional Secretary Sonika were present on this occasion.
