The Aam Aadmi Party observed silence for the peace of the souls of the farmers who died in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident of Uttar Pradesh. Describing the incident as unfortunate, AAP targeted the BJP. On Wednesday, a condolence meeting was organized at the AAP office located at Nepali Farm Tiraha. AAP workers strongly condemned the incident in Lakhimpur Kheri. Party organization minister Dinesh Aswal alleged that the death of innocent farmers is a result of the repressive policy of the UP government. Said that the party stands with the farmers and will continue to fight till they get justice. State Executive Member Vijay Panwar said that the Employment Guarantee Scheme would prove to be a milestone in the Navnirman of Uttarakhand. State Vice President of Intellectual Cell Dr. Raje Negi, Media In-charge Sanjay Silswal, Umang Devrani, Rakesh Kathait, Jayendra Tadiyal, Dhanpal Rawat, Praveen Aswal, Narendra Kathait, Kuldeep Rana, Vikrant Bhardwaj, Chandramohan Bhatt, Harvendra Tyagi etc. were present on the occasion.
