Released the book “Trading Wildlife across Borders: Implementing CITES in South Asia” by On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this book is based on a very serious subject. In today’s era, along with taking steps towards wildlife conservation, there is a dire need to stop illegal smuggling and trade of wild products, herbs and animals. The Chief Minister said that smuggling etc. can be brought down through public awareness. If people’s connection with nature increases, then conservation will also increase and indiscriminate exploitation of nature can be stopped.
He said that our state is a frontier state and nature has blessed us with its amazing beauty. Our festivals are connected with nature. It is the duty of all of us to try our level best to conserve nature.
