Uttarakhand : CM Pushkar Singh Dhami gave gift to Anganwadi sisters

◾Keeping his promise, CM provided incentive amount to 33297 Anganwadi workers through DBT

A total incentive amount of Rs 40 crore is being given to Anganwadi workers.
Each Anganwadi worker is being given an incentive amount of Rs 2 thousand

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the incentive amount being provided to Anganwadi workers from the Secretariat through DBT. Due to this, money was sent to the account of 33297 Anganwadi workers through DBT. A total amount of Rs 40 crore is being given to 33297 Anganwadi workers as announced by the Chief Minister.

According to the Chief Minister’s announcement, 33297 Anganwadi workers have been given incentives for performing their duties in a dedicated sense, Rs. 01 thousand per worker, Rs. 01 thousand per worker to be given on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan through DBT. Apart from this, in the order of Chief Minister’s announcement of incentive amount of Rs. 2 thousand per worker for 5 months, the incentive amount of September was transferred to Rs. 2 thousand per Anganwadi worker.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the sisters of Anganwadi worked risking their lives during COVID-19. They are being rewarded for commendable work during COVID. He said that soon a big decision would be taken for the interests of Anganwadi workers. The Chief Minister said that 100 days ago, I got the responsibility of Chief Servant of the State. More than 300 important decisions were taken in these 100 days. Continuous efforts are being made to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the last line people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a target to make Uttarakhand a leading state in every field by 2025. For this every effort will be made by the state government.

Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Smt. Rekha Arya said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has fulfilled the promise made with his sisters. Today, money is being sent to the account of Anganwadi sisters through DBT. Many works are being done by the state government in the direction of women empowerment and child development.

On this occasion Secretary Women Empowerment and Child Development Hari Chandra Semwal, Deputy Director Dr. SK Singh, State Project Officer Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Mishra, IndusInd Bank State Head Sandeep Semwal were present.
