Uttarakhand : Haridwar team reached the semi-finals of the Inter District Tournament

In the Inter District Cricket Competition organized by the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand in Dehradun, Haridwar defeated Nainital A by 272 runs to enter the semi-finals. Playing first, Haridwar’s team scored 365 runs for 6 wickets in 46 overs due to the superb batting of Sohit Tomar 100 not out, Manish Gond 80, Lovelit 53 and Ayush Chauhan 49. In the bowling for Nainital, Gokul took 3 wickets, Suraj and Deepak took 1-1 wickets. Chasing the target, Nainital’s team was bundled out for 93 runs in 29 overs as Haridwar secured their place in the semi-finals by winning the match by 272 runs. Apart from Aditya Arya and Prateek Pandey’s 15 and 16 runs respectively from Nainital, no batsman could play on the wicket. Arjun Kumar, Loveleet and Amandeep Singh took 2-2 wickets from Haridwar. Cricket Association of Haridwar President Neeraj Kumar and Secretary Inder Mohan Barthwal and all the executive members congratulated team coach Prashnjit Bose and team members on winning and entering the semi-finals.
