Eurofins Analytical Services launches mobile monitoring lab to test agricultural commodities
Eurofins Analytical Services India, a subsidiary of Eurofins Scientific Group, announced the launch of the Mobile Residue Monitoring Laboratory, which will provide fast and accurate testing services to farmers and exporters near farms and procurement markets.

The Mobile Pesticide Residue Lab will have all state-of-the-art equipment capable of testing more than 500 pesticide residues and aflatoxins and okratoxins in the commodity, the company said in a release here. The lab will pay special attention to the exported commodities like Basmati Rice, Cumin, Chilli, Soya, so that the farmer can check the quality of his product for export in the shortest possible time.
In this way farmers will get testing facilities near their fields where mobile labs will be erected near the mandi, and farmers will be able to get their produce tested in the shortest possible time without having to send the sample to another city.
In addition, more than 500 pesticide residues can be tested in crops. In this way the farmer can find out whether his product is suitable for export or not and can also fix its selling price. They can also get their products tested for aflatoxins and okratoxins. The mobile lab will significantly reduce the turnaround time for testing as compared to the traditional lab.
