Uttarakhand / Champawat : DM NE expressed displeasure over the slow pace of construction works
DM Vineet Tomar has expressed displeasure over the slow pace of construction works. He directed the officials to expedite the construction works. To maintain quality in development works, he asked for on-site inspection.
On Wednesday, the DM reviewed the works of twenty-point, district and state planning in the Collectorate auditorium. He directed the officials to complete the construction work by December. He said that action will be taken against the departments which do not spend the funds within the stipulated time. It was informed that against Rs 40.78 crore, Rs 29.18 crore has been released under the district plan. Out of this, Rs 21.21 crore has been spent till September. Against the Rs 75.46 crore released in the state plan, Rs 41.37 crore has been spent. Under the centrally funded scheme, Rs 54.15 crore has been spent against 59.95 crore released and Rs 85.28 lakh against 15.33 crore has been spent in external aid.
