Uttar Pradesh /Hamirpur : Legal literacy camp given legal information
Legal literacy awareness camp was organized in Hamirpur on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence under the aegis of District Legal Authority. During the program, Mr. Umesh Chandra Srivastava, President, Permanent Lok Adalat, Hamirpur, Mr. Sudesh Kumar, District Legal Services Authority, Hamirpur, Mr. Abhimanyu Seth, Block Development Officer, Maudaha, Hamirpur were present in the program. During this, Chairman Permanent Lok Adalat Shri told that it was suggested to settle cases like traffic related to Lok Adalat, Postal Taraprakashvalok Sanitation and Sanitation, Hospital and Dispensary Insurance and Accidents in Permanent Lok Adalat. Shri Abhimanyu Seth gave detailed information to the Anganwadi worker, ASHA worker about the development schemes on block development like Kisan Samman Nidhi Maternity Security PDS MNREGA Widow Pension Scheme. In this sequence, Mr. Sudesh Kumar, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, during the Legal Literacy Awareness Program in Hamirpur, informed the women about the Right to Information Act, about the Protection from Domestic Violence Act, and went door-to-door to increase the legal awareness program. Along with this, it was also told that the legal literacy camps would be organized from time to time by the District Legal Services Authority, Hamirpur. Employment servants, technical assistant panchayat secretary, Anganwadi workers and Asha daughter-in-law participated in the program.
