Uttar Pradesh / Jhansi : In the custody of 3 police including ganja worth three lakhs

By siege on Kanpur road, police station Baragaon arrested three drug smugglers, including 50 kg 600 grams of ganja, hiding in an Alto car. The consignment of Ganja was being taken from Jhansi to Orai. Actually, Baragaon Police Station President Parmendra Kumar Singh along with the informers laid siege on the highway in front of the police station along with the informers. In no time tried to stop the speeding Alto car number UP 92 V 8883 from Jhansi.

Seeing the police, three persons including the driver stopped the car and started running. The police surrounded the three accused and caught them. When the police searched the car, five packets kept hidden in it were found. When I opened the packets, I found ganja full of it. When the police weighed the ganja, its weight turned out to be 50.6 kg. Police said that the value of the seized ganja is around Rs 3 lakh in the market.

The accused caught during interrogation gave their names as Ashish Shivhare son Jaideep Shivhare resident of village Pindari police station Jalaun, Manoj Kumar Shivhare son Ramshankar village Pindari police station at district Jalaun, Shyam Shivhare son Ramprakash Rajendra Nagar police station Kotwali, Orai district Jalaun. The police registered a case of Section 8/20 NDPS Act against the three accused and sent them to the court. Police said that there are many criminal cases registered against the accused. The team that arrested the ganja smugglers included SHO Parmendra Kumar Singh, Sub Inspector Ghanshyam Singh, Head Constable Narendra Kumar, Sanjeev Sharma, Constable Kamalakant.

Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
