Uttarakhand / Roorkee : Action on those who do not follow the guide line of COVID
During the annual Urs of Sabir Pak in Piran Kaliyar, the police took action against the shopkeepers who encroached on the streets and people roaming without masks and social distancing. During this, a fine of Rs 31 thousand was collected.
The police strictly followed the guide line of COVID-19 in the fair area and took action against those who did not apply social distancing and masks in the fair area. Along with this, the police also took action against the encroachers by putting street vendors on the roads in the fair. The police challaned 69 people under the Police Act. Invoices were cut for 10 people without masks. Trainee CO Natasha Singh said that the guide line of Kovid 19 is being followed during the Urs. During this, challan action was taken against those who did without masks, social distancing and erecting street carts on the road and encroaching in front of shops.
