Uttarakhand : Colonel Kothiyal on Uttarkashi tour, reaching village to village to meet people
Aam Aadmi Party’s chief ministerial candidate Colonel Ajay Kothiyal is on a tour of Uttarkashi district these days. Where today he was on a tour of Bagori village of Uttarkashi. During this, he got the blessings of Mata Rani after going to the local temple of the village and worshiping. On reaching here, the local people gave him a grand welcome. Colonel Kothiyal along with the villagers reached Ringali Devi temple to see the local goddess. After worshiping the mother, he took blessings from the mother by praying for the new construction of Uttarakhand.
Colonel Kothiyal went from house to house in Bagori village and met the public. People welcomed him by giving him flowers. During this, while interacting with the people there, he assured that the development works in the area will be completed if the AAP government is formed. He said that today people in the mountains are being forced to live like a mountain, but neither the Congress nor the BJP ever thought of anything for the people of the state. Now this is the reason why people have disillusioned with both the parties. People now want an option that can change the state and they have got a new option in the form of AAP.
During this, the villagers present there assured Colonel Kothiyal of giving full support in the assembly elections. After this, Colonel Kothiyal reached Dharali where hundreds of people inspired by the policies of the AAP party joined the party at the hands of Colonel Kothiyal. During membership, people accused both the parties of ignoring the area. Col Kothiyal assured him that the pace of development in this area would be accelerated if AAP formed the government. Colonel Kothiyal also did public relations after reaching Harshil where people gave him a warm welcome. During Nim’s stay as principal, the people here have a lot of affection for Colonel Kothiyal. A door-to-door public relations campaign was launched on behalf of the party in Harshil. During this, Colonel Ajay Kothiyal interacted with the people around the post office and government school located in Harshil and took stock of the problems faced by the local traders and shopkeepers in the work.
Colonel Kothiyal met Harsil’s apple cultivators and talked to them and listened to their problems. The cultivators told that they need cold storage. The government is not able to give a fair price for the apples here. Due to lack of cold storage, many times the apple gets spoiled, due to which heavy losses have to be suffered. Colonel Kothiyal has also assured them of proper help. In the evening, Colonel Kothiyal reached Gangotri Dham, where he offered prayers at Gangotri Dham, the holy pilgrimage site of Mother Ganga, and reiterated the resolve to make Uttarakhand the first spiritual capital of the country and Uttarakhand Navnirman from Mother Ganga. Along with this, he also prayed for the peace of the soul of the people killed in the disaster. Many AAP workers including local people were also present along with Colonel Kothiyal on this occasion.
