Haibatullah Akhundzada, the supreme leader of the Taliban, who has been missing for a long time, has finally come in front of the people. Akhundzada addressed supporters in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar. It is worth noting that Akhundzada has been leading Islamic activities here since 2016. But he was underground for a long time. Even after the Taliban took over Afghanistan in August, it was not coming to the fore.

Rumors were blown up to death
Various rumors were swirling about Haibatullah Akhundzada’s long disappearance and no role in the Taliban government. At times, even the fear of Akhundzada’s death was expressed. According to Taliban officials, he had reached Darul Uloom Hakima Madrasa on Saturday. During this he talked to the soldiers and students. During this, the security arrangements were very tight. Even no one was allowed to make photos and videos. However, a ten-minute audio clip has been shared on Taliban’s social media accounts.

Prayers for Taliban Leadership
In this audio message, Akhundzada is being addressed as ‘Amirul Mominen’. It means commander of the trustees. Akhundzada is giving religious messages during this time. However, in this speech he is not talking about politics. But the Taliban is definitely talking about the mercy of Allah on the leadership. During this, Akhundzada Taliban is praying to the Almighty for the martyrs, injured and others. Akhundzada was made the leader of the Taliban after Mullah Akhtar Mansour was killed in a US drone strike in 2016.
