Uttarakhand / Pauri : The intellectually handicapped young man was safely handed over to the relatives by the Operation Smile team of the district
“Operation Smile” campaign is being run from 15.09.2021 to search for the missing from Police Headquarters. Under which Senior Superintendent of Police District Pauri Garhwal K.P. Renuka Devi has directed the Operation Smile team of the district to search for the missing. In the sequence of which Ansarul, an intellectually handicapped, aged 17 years, son of Tayyab, resident of village Tira, police station Ghanshyampur, district Darbhanga, Bihar, who cannot speak and hear properly. He was admitted unclaimed in Sri Sathya Sai Ashram, Dehradun since the year 2020. When the video and photo of the said intellectually handicapped youth was released by the district’s “Operation Smile” team sharing his mobile number on social media to search for his family members, Arun Kumar Yadav got a call from Bihar state, through whom it was told that The boy is from his village. Its father is a friend of my school student life. He has contacted the father of the said child. After the relatives of the said disabled child came to Dehradun, the operation smile team of the district handed over the said disabled child to the safe family members. The family members of the child expressed their gratitude to the Uttarakhand Police for the noble work done by the district police.
