This is about 50 percent more than the 340 deaths reported on the previous day. With this, the total number of corona cases in the country has so far crossed 3 crore 38 lakhs. At the same time, the number of dead is now more than 4 lakh 62 thousand.
In the last 24 hours in India, the number of patients recovering from corona has crossed 13 thousand. That is, at present the recovery rate remains higher than the new infected. The effect of this is that the number of active cases in the country has come down to 1 lakh 37 thousand 416, which is the lowest in 267 days. At the same time, the overall recovery rate reached 98.26 percent, which is the highest since March 2020.
According to the data of the Ministry of Health, 53 lakh 81 thousand 889 doses of corona vaccine were given in the last one day. With this, more than 110 crore 79 lakh vaccine doses have been administered in India so far. The number of corona tests in India also remains continuously above 10 lakhs. Between Thursday and Friday, more than 11 lakh 65 thousand tests were conducted in the country.
11 new infected were found on Friday, the number of active patients increased to 147
In Uttarakhand, 11 new corona infected have been found in the state in the last 24 hours. At the same time, not a single patient has died. On Friday, nine patients have been sent home after recovery. The number of active patients has gone up to 147.

37 thousand who applied the first dose of vaccine are not known
In Rudraprayag district, 72 percent people have received the second dose of corona vaccine, but a backlog of 37 thousand remains, which remains a challenge for the health department. Contact is being made on the mobile numbers of these people at the departmental level, but most of them are not traceable.
In a district with a population of 2.5 lakh, 1 lakh 71 thousand 271 people in the age group of 18 to 44 and above 45 were marked for corona vaccination. All the marked have received the first dose of the vaccine. The second dose has also been applied to 1 lakh 18 thousand 674, but 37 thousand people are still deprived of the second dose.
Officials say that continuous contact is being made on the mobile of these people, but there is no response. The situation is that there is no contact on 20 thousand mobile numbers. Chief Medical Officer Dr. BK Shukla says that there is a backlog of 37 thousand in the second phase of corona vaccination in the district. Due to this problem, there are problems in meeting the 100% target of vaccination.
