It has been almost one and a half months since the monsoon season, but the Jal Sansthan is not taking the trouble to repair the damaged drinking water lines. Water lines have been damaged in various parts of the city and hundreds of liters of water is flowing on the roads. In some places, the Jal Sansthan did excavation, but due to lack of fault, they raised their hands. Now the woes of the common man have increased due to the water flowing on the road.
There is a problem of drinking water in various colonies of the city for the last few days, whereas, the responsible are chanting the rage of their helplessness for one reason or the other. Somewhere the supply is completely stalled, then in many places the problem of low-pressure and contaminated water remains. The reason is that the water lines are broken at places. After the rain, the Jal Sansthan prepares an action plan to repair the line, but even after one and a half months, no action is visible on the ground.

In some areas, the supply is completely stalled for the last two days, while in some places only one time supply is being done. That too only half an hour. There are many areas of the city where sewer or drain water is also reaching the houses.
Along with the damage to the drinking water line, the supply disruption is being cited at many places due to power cuts. Officials of Jal Sansthan say that a budget of about Rs.8 lakh has been approved for repairing the drinking water line. The process of taking permission from the police and public works department is in progress at many places. Soon the water lines will be repaired.
