Kangana badly trapped by calling Sikhs ‘Khalistani’, FIR registered

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is once again seen in trouble. A Sikh organization has filed a complaint against Kangana at Khar Police Station in Mumbai. Kangana Ranaut has been accused of using derogatory language against the Sikh community in her social media posts, which has hurt their sentiments. A case has been registered against Kangana under section 295 (A) and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

DSGMC filed a case
An official of Khar police station said that a complaint has been received from the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC). A case has been registered against Kangana Ranaut. A delegation led by Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa lodged a complaint against Ranaut, the official said.

The sentiments of the Sikh community were hurt
The official said that the DSGMC has alleged that Kangana Ranaut deliberately termed the farmers’ protest (Kisan Morcha) as a form of Khalistani movement and also termed the Sikh community as Khalistani terrorists. It claimed that he described the 1984 and earlier genocide as a well-planned move on the part of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The complaint also said that Kangana Ranaut has used very derogatory language against the Sikh community, even as she has said that Sikhs were crushed under her (Indira Gandhi) shoes. This statement is most derogatory, which has hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community across the world.

Kangana gave this statement
Kangana had shared a controversial post on social media regarding the farmers’ movement, which is being opposed across the country. Kangana wrote, ‘The Khalistani terrorist may be twisting the hands of the government today but we should not forget the woman (former prime minister Indira Gandhi) who crushed them under her shoe. They were crushed like mosquitoes but did not allow the country to be broken into pieces.
