Uttar Pradesh : Order issued for the arrest of IAS Deepak Singh and Director Basic Education
Angered by the bureaucracy of Uttar Pradesh and the officers doing the desired work, the Allahabad High Court, while taking a decision, fiercely scolded the officers and issued an arrest warrant for the Director Basic Education and Additional Chief Secretary Basic Education. Since this order, there has been a stir in the entire IAS lobby.
High court ordered to appear on December 20
The Allahabad High Court issued such an order expressing displeasure to the Director of Basic Education, Sarvendra Vikram Bahadur Singh, for not following the court’s order, repeatedly complicating the matter in reading the paperwork.
At the same time, there was a lot of displeasure on the senior IAS officer of the department due to not working on time of the lower level officers and not being able to stop such arbitrariness. After which, issuing warrants for the arrest of both the officers, asked them to appear on 20 December.
Arrest of senior IAS Deepak Kumar also fixed
The Allahabad High Court expressed displeasure over the constant delay of the officials and ignoring the order and said – ‘Now the need is strictly. If the officers in the state ignore and ignore the orders of the High Court, then how will the common citizen get justice. It is clear from the order and the court’s comment in this regard that the arrest of senior IAS officer Deepak Singh is also certain.
Contempt petition filed on behalf of petitioner Rekha Singh
The Allahabad High Court, while delivering the verdict in favor of Rekha Singh (during the hearing on the job in the deceased dependent quota) on September 21, 2021, in the case of petitioner Rekha Singh, had asked to comply with the order. But the officers, ignoring and ignoring the order of the court, tried to entangle the petitioner again in the papers. After which the petitioner again approached the court and pleaded.
In the same case, on November 8, 2021, an order was again given to the top officials of the Basic Education Department to attend personally and ask for clarification, to follow the order. In which it was said by the court that ‘if the order is not followed, then both the officers i.e. Director Basic Education and Additional Chief Secretary will have to be present.’
Still, the order of the High Court was not followed by the Education Department. Nor did these two big officers go there, after which the court got angry and issued an order of arrest and asked them to appear on 20 December.
