Uttar Pradesh : ‘CM Yogi and PM Modi deceived Bundelkhand’, alleges Priyanka Gandhi at Mahoba’s pledge rally

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi addressed a pledge rally in Mahoba and targeted the BJP government of UP. Priyanka said that the people of Bundelkhand have a right on the resources of Bundelkhand. The Congress General Secretary alleged that Prime Minister Modi ji, Chief Minister Yogi ji have cheated Bundelkhand. Farmers are committing suicide in Bundelkhand due to fertilizer. 1500 farmers have committed suicide in two years. BJP has not been able to do anything on new mineral policy, plight of farmers, water problem. Bundelkhand has become in bad condition due to unemployment, inflation.

Amidst the huge crowd in Mahoba’s Congress rally, Priyanka Gandhi assured that the Congress will end the BJP’s loot policy. Will work for the development of Bundelkhand. Like BJP, there will be a permanent Bundelkhand Development Board for Bundelkhand, not an electoral Bundelkhand Development Board.

Development budget will be given every year for Bundelkhand Development Board. In Mahoba, Veer will build a big cultural center in the name of Alha-Udal. Will waive farmers’ debt. Everyone’s electricity bill will be halved and Corona period arrears will be forgiven.

Priyanka also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement regarding the withdrawal of all three agricultural laws in the midst of the farmers’ agitation that has been going on for a year. Priyanka said that farmers are doing penance, not PM Modi. It is noteworthy that PM Modi had said that the government failed to explain the benefits of agricultural laws. Perhaps there must have been some deficiency in his penance.

It is worth noting that Priyanka Gandhi is holding a pledge rally at different places in Uttar Pradesh. As part of the pledge, the Congress has also made 7 big promises to the people of UP. Assembly elections in UP are to be held in 2022. All the parties have started preparations in full swing regarding this.
