IND vs NZ, 2nd Test: Ajaz Patel created panic by taking 10 wickets, Indian team all out for 325 runs
The second Test match is being played between the teams of India and New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, in which the Indian team was reduced to 325 runs in the first innings in front of the bowling of Ajaz Patel. Ejaz Patel equaled the world record by taking all the 10 wickets in the Indian innings. With this, Ejaz became the third bowler to do so. Before him, Jim Laker and Anil Kumble have taken all 10 wickets in Test innings.
Batting first after winning the toss, India got off to a great start by the opening pair. Mayank Agarwal and Shubman Gill scored 80 runs. Gill got out on the score of 44. On the same sum, India also lost the wickets of Cheteshwar Pujara (0) and captain Virat Kohli (0).
India had lost 3 wickets on the score of 80. From here, Mayank Agarwal along with Shreyas Iyer took the team out of trouble by adding 80 runs for the fourth wicket. Iyer contributed 18 runs in the Indian innings.

After Iyer’s dismissal, Wriddhiman Saha came out to bat and added 64 runs for the fifth wicket with Mayank Aggarwal. Saha (27) returned to the pavilion on the second day of the match, on the very next ball of which Ravichandran Ashwin (0) also went on.
On the second ball of the 110th over of the Indian innings, Jayant Yadav handed his catch to Rachin Ravindra. Now Ejaz was just one step away from equaling the world record from here. On the fifth ball, Mohammad Siraj played a high shot on his ball and once again Rachin took the catch. With this, Ejaz got his name registered in the golden pages of history.
